DHKND Management Inc Since 2020.

Dhknd is a brand that sells Indian traditional handcrafted furniture like sevan wood mandir, sankheda jhula(swings), sofa set, pooja accessories, and home decor inspired by Indian craftsmanship. We take immense pride in our craftsmen and their hard work, where they put day and night to create the masterpiece you get to see on our website. Each piece is handcrafted, picked, packed, shipped from India and delivered to your doorsteps. Dhknd is not just a brand; it’s a way for us to showcase the beautiful culture of India most creatively.

Dhknd was started in September 2020 by Daxesh Dalwadi (Founder) and Heema Dalwadi (co-founder). The concept was simple: create a brand that showcases Indian craftsmanship and its unique products in the most beautiful way. After more than 10 years of combined experience in import-export in India, starting Dhknd here in Canada was a no-brainer for them.

How are we different?

Dhknd is one of the first in itself brand that provides Indian traditional furniture like mandir (temple), and swings in Canada. We are the first company in Canada that provides the option to customize the furniture according to one’s requirements of size, design, and structure. With this, we are on the mission to reach 20,000 + South Asians out of 2.5 million of them in the entire Canada by the end of the year. Our vision is to create a brand that carries forward the art and craftsmanship of Indian craftsmen to every corner of Canada. We have proudly served more than 7000 customers and one the road to reach many more.

Leadership

Daxesh Dalwadi

Founder

Where Heema is the heart of the business, Daxesh is the brain. He is the mind behind every operational & financial decision. Daxesh grew up in a household filled with entrepreneurs coming from the industry of construction and real estate industries. But as he always says, he is a guy of concept. You can give him a product and give a price; selling it is his job, and he is great at it. Having completed his undergraduate in Bachelor of Science from Gujarat University, he went on to handle the family business of road construction, then transitioned into real estate, land ownership, etc. He has 10+ years of experience in import and export in India. So you can say he is the perfect person to run a brand like dhknd. He may not be the face of the brand, but his work is surely showcased company-wide, from perfecting each product to perfectly executing each task, from manufacturing to end product delivery. Daxesh has proven time to time again that beyond product & finance, execution can make or break a company.

Heema Dalwadi

(CEO – Founder)

Heema grew up in a household filled with entrepreneurs who were experts in the field of Indian craftsmanship perfected in the form of jewelry. That’s where she learned the value of art. Being a great artist herself, she has woven her story. Heema completed her undergraduate from Gujarat University in commerce/business, and then moved on to perfect her art, where she taught individuals painting for a long time, and also sold her artwork commercially. With 7+ years of history in import export, particularly deciding the course of path for dhknd here in Canada, came much easier than expected. She is the face behind the brand, as you might have seen on our socials. But beyond that, she is a woman ready to take on a difficult task and work her way up until it’s accomplished. Dhknd was her idea, and she treats the company like her own baby. The spark in her eyes while explaining the product is enough to tell you how passionate she is about it.

Kavya Dalwadi

Assistant Director

Kavya is a current undergraduate student at Sait working toward a degree in business with a major in supply chain management and logistics. She handles the marketing campaigns and is the brain behind the brand image. She has extensive experience working in sales and business development to give her a head start to build a future with dhknd. Other than marketing, she mainly handles finance and the digital database of inventory. She is extremely enthusiastic to contribute to dhknd and its growing operations. She is looking forward to using the skills obtained from the diverse internship and her degree towards the growth of dhknd.
